1) Report Viewing in Tally: To view reports in Tally or TallyPrime, you use built-in report functions (such as Ledger, Day Book, Balance Sheet, Stock Summaries, etc.). Reports are generated from your company data, not from .tsf files.

2) Excel Mapping Exception: The one exception is if you have a .tsf file for Excel import mapping—it defines how Excel data should map into Tally fields during import. Even then, once import completes, you view actual reports from within Tally, not by opening the .tsf file itself.
